Rupert was inspired to put pen to paper by his London University tutor, the playwright Simon Gray. There were several false starts which were, quite rightly, consigned to the waste bin - not for re-cycling.
His enjoyment of writing has been re-ignited by the inspiring and encouraging environment of the Cutting Edge Writers group. What's more, the critiquing process has proved especially beneficial. He is now writing his first novel, 21:50, which aims to convey that the clock is ticking so it's important to make the most of your time.
