Ruthanne  was born November 30th,  in North Carolina. She was born to parents Timothy  and Diane . She was the third child following behind her sister Monique  and her brother Aaron. A year and half later her baby brother would be born, Jason. Ruthanne grew up on the U.S Army base, Fort Bragg. Growing up on the base was difficult for Ruthanne. She hated the strict rules and being closely observed by military personnel. She felt like she was a fish in an aquarium and everyone kept tapping the glass. Her family moved around from base to base a lot so she rarely made friends, because she knew she'd have to leave them soon. She had one close friend, May. May was a fellow army brat and her father was in the same squadron as Ruthanne's father. They went everywhere together. They moved from North Carolina to  Virginia and everywhere after that.  Michigan felt like what a home should feel like to Ruthanne. The only thing that kept  her hopeful was her, May. May kept Ruthanne happy, making her work always have a lighter character. Ruthanne's father moved to be closer to work while the rest of the family stayed in Michigan. She was bullied often. Being bullied made Ruthanne's writing works turn darker and more depressing. She fell into a downward spiral of depression. Her mother remarried to Burley  and her family moved to Hazel . Moving devastated  Ruthanne. She was forced to move away from May, this only made her fall deeper and deeper into depression. On May 14th, 2012 Ruthanne attempted suicide, but failed. Her mother found her having a seizure and brought her to the hospital to have her stomach pumped. A short few months later in August of 2012. May was found dead in her closet. She hanged herself. She meet her current boyfriend in early 2015 and she fell hard. They have been together for a year and two months. Her boyfriend, Aaron  helped her through whatever she was still struggling through. Since being with him her writing is loving and has more romantic undertones.
