I love realism. I love the raw, down-to-Earth, heartfelt realities of life. I love to write in a way that reaches into the human soul. I love to take the greatest pains and struggles in life and make them a blessing to others. Fantasy is a wonderful, interesting thing-but real-life situations, feelings, fears, and dreams are an unexplored ocean of stories that need to be told. SB

I'm a self-published author,  and traditionally published poet, and freelance writer from North Georgia. I began my writing career as a youngster but only recently, followed my lifelong dream of reaching readers through the written word. I returned to college in 2013 to earn my BA/English and creative writing/Publication (University of North Georgia). I  published my first book "Voices from the Heart" in the summer of 2012. I'm a Father, Grandfather, husband, and dedicated Harley Davidson rider. Our family enjoys the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains where we live-especially the screened in back porch where we love to bird watch.
