Samuel Garrido was born in Venezuela. He started his literary activity by translating self-help books that belong to the public domain from English to Spanish. He published La Ciencia de una Riqueza Plena with Trafford Editorial of BC, Canada. Then, he wrote a short story of motivation entitled El Manuscrito Secreto, published by Editorial La Casa del Pez in Valencia, Venezuela, and republished in English through CreateSpace. He completed two novels in the Epic Fantasy genre of a projected trilogy entitled The Gems of the Golden Serpent, written initially in Spanish. The first one, Pelair, has already been published through CreateSpace. The second one; Antair is finished, even though it is still in the process of reviewing. It is also pending for translation. The third one, Iskair is in its sketch phase. He recently self-published a collection of short stories entitled Ten Stories and Another One, (Diez Relatos y Uno Más) simultaneously in English and Spanish which can be found at Amazon.com
