Hi, my name is Sarah Varmalis!! I have a few nicknames including Random, Varmalis, SV and Panda. Feel free to use any of these or just call me Sarah.
I was born in 1992, with my mother beginning my love affair of a good book by reading me Dr Seuss classics such as 'Green Eggs and Ham' and 'The Grinch'. She also read me poems and told stories from big books that even now, later in my life I still enjoy. Stories such as 'The Balloon Tree', poems such as 'The Highwaymen', she read them all to me changing her voice artfully to give the characters more substance, and the stories more mystery. When the first Harry Potter came out I recall my mother reading to me, and more often than not, my father as well. We all loved the stories, and when it was completed and my mother’s voice hoarse from overuse I was eager for more.
The first series of books I completed on my own was The Belgariad series by David Eddings. Since then I have had a love of books that hold within their covers whole worlds, the fact that the author can do so much with words upon a piece of paper has never ceased to amaze and captivate me.
I do not have a favorite book or author, for to many books have captured my attention and held me in their thrall since I began to read.
I am currently studying Osteopathy so have not had the same opportunities to read that I have in previous years. When I do read, I finish on average a page a minute, and a book a day.
I am mainly writing 'Deaths Happy Mistake' at the moment, as 'The Lost Ones' and 'Ghost of Thieves' were both started when I was much younger. If You wish to keep reading please like or comment so I can know to keep writing.
