I'm a space enthusiast, raised on Star Trek and Star Wars since childhood. I watched and re-watched every documentary and Sci-fi movie and show that aired since the 90's. This sparked my imagination and storytelling juices. I have been working on the unpublished Man's Shadow Sci-fi novel series for the last 25 years. A collection of 12 works-in-progress that started back when I was in high school and continued threw my life. Now, I've finally resolved to publish these works online and see where it can go. I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to give advice and let me know what you think.

In my first book I started when I was in high school, I was inspired by a Star Trek book that had a timeline of events leading up to the events of the book as a unique prologue. i decided to do the same to my book to give the characters, technology and setting a backstory. But after writing the timeline, I realized a key difference between the Star Trek universe and my own: star trek had hundreds of episodes, spin offs, books, comics. A rich tapestry of lore to build on before the setting of the book. I also realized that each point on my timeline could focus on influential individual and story at that time that bult up to the current book. So my ADD took over, I stopped working on that first book, and started working on a prequal...

Fast forward 25 years, now I have 12 works-in-progress, each one starting the same as the last: a prequal to the previous story. I've worked to edit and try to work out inconsistencies in the timeline and story plot holes. The series spanning backwards from a story set in the deep future, to the present day, chronicling the future of humanity. Now I have finally resolved to actually post and publish my works, and finally try to finish a story, starting with 'Bard of the Unwritten', working forward to evolve the story into it's finished product.
