I'm cackling man, I'm writing what is currently a DCU 2k about how Batman is the official Dad FriendTM of the Justice League except no he's not, he is a parent, he is parental, he gets called dad, and he's like "How did I miss that duty, I've been so irresponsible", and he accidentally corrects the general notion that he doesn't fucking like anyone in the Justice League by treating them how he treats his kids. I change a bunch of ages but it's a crackfic so it's fine, and the AO3 tag system is saving my life and extending its span.
          
          I have till August 16 before the Archive deletes it, but I just escaped a wild bout of writer's block and I am raring to go, so I think ill get there

Doing my occasional thing that shoukd really happen more often of poking my head out of the sand to say smth, and uhhh. I've started writing my first original trilogy. And I've never finished any single original storyline book I've written, so I'm damned n e r v o u s because it's timeline-intensive. There's so much going on, and I'm real glad so much of the lore was fleshed out in tiktok dms lol, because it's real comprehensive, and if I didn't have it written down I feel I'd be liable to forget it, ha!
          
          The books take place centuries apart, and only two of them in the same kingdom. It's Narnia inspired and queer experience inspired and my-life inspired, so even if literally no one sees this, it'll warm my heart a little to have this here, because so many of the more inspiring times of my life have been had here. The pandemic was a weird time, but the community I found here, the parasocial relationships I formed and severed, yeesh, and the friends I've made, one of whom has his number in the cell phone I don't have access to right now, love ‘im, has shaped me in a way few other things can claim. To think Pokémon ships got me here, geez lol.
          
          I know I'm not super active here anymore, but the year and a half-ish I did spend here was one of the most influential years of my whole life. I'd be a whole different person if not for that. I appreciate that reality, and the people who made it so, a wholeee lot. Thank you :)

Harried is the best word to describe this how this bullshit ass week got me feeling, creative wise First I find out my favorite character in the book I'm writing is remarkably cooked :skull: no narratively impactful to save her, and then I find out after doing every weird thing except getting into comics, that I've managed to get into the dc batfam all of sudden, and then I find out the reason I like Jason Todd so fucking much is because I'm Tim Drake coded like wtf
