Mount Spectre is a pleasant enough town. The families who live there are the same as in any other small town. And the students attending Mistyside High and Brightdale Preparatory Academy all seem like normal kids. 

So why are there so many stories about the neighborhood known as Mistyside?  

Stories about horrible accidents, nightmarish creatures, and twisted minds . . . ?  

About people who travel to Spectre Falls and never return . . .  

About strange spectral lights dancing in the windows of the old Blackwood manor-a house that's sat abandoned for almost a hundred years . . .  

About mysterious fires, missing persons, unsolved crimes and deaths-so many deaths . . .  

About people just like you who visit Mistyside . . . and are never the same again!  

But there's no way those stories are true. You don't believe in curses. Right? So go ahead. Cross the tracks to Mistyside. You'll be fine . . . won't you?

Sida Silene is a writer dedicated to recording the strange events occurring in the town of Mount Spectre. Once upon a time, on a dark and stormy night, a single passage in a book called The Thirteenth Tale solidified Sida's desire to write:
