I'm a spirit animal.  Unlike humans, we keep most of our memories from recent past lives so we can benefit from the knowledge gained. Currently I am a pup belonging to Frosty, a snowplow operator in South Lake Tahoe.  Before that I was a dog named Max who you may have read about in the Sharing Afflictions novel by @Cfarley982 .  Before Max, I was a coyote known as Smiley coyote. You can read about his adventures in several of Farley's books.  I appear most prominently in the book I coauthored with Farley:

 Those with a coyote spirit animal are happy and approach all situations with joy. They easily adapt to their surroundings, and don't tend to take things seriously.  As a Spirit Animal, Coyote represents trouble, but also good fortune. The coyote as a spirit animal is a teacher of hidden wisdom with a sense of humor. Don't be tricked by the foolish appearances.
