I'm a coffee fiend happily married for over 20 years with 4 beautiful children. I served 24 years in the Air Force and started to make writing something more than just a hobby while deployed. I like to sing, play piano, draw, and play tabletop RPGs. I love God and love people, so I look forward to interaction. And of course I enjoy writing, when I can escape the lure of the internet or video games.
I am a contributing author to Chicken Soup for the Soul: Military Families edition as well as Chicken Soup for the Soul: Step Outside Your Comfort Zone. 
My first novel, Not to the Swift, and my first fantasy book, Diffraction, are both available on Amazon and Kindle. I've made the full books available here, because I need readers more than I need the $1.20 I might get from a book sale. I'm currently working on fantasy book two.
Because nothing has spurred or refined my writing as much as a good in-person writers' group, I've also written a short book called Elements of Critique (also available on Amazon/Kindle). It contains 30 brief lessons (1-3 pages each) on effective critique of other people's writing and running a helpful critique group.
