I'm thirty-something and have been writing for relaxation and pleasure since my teens. It started with bad poetry, progressed to short stories and I have turned a couple of the half-finished ideas that litter my floor into novel-length pieces. 

My first completed piece is Quid Pro Quo which I finished in 2005 and am now updating and uploading. I am also working on a much longer piece in a very different style.

I enjoy writing crime/noir, low fantasy, sci-fi and quirky humour and have unfinished projects in all of those genres. I particularly enjoy atypical characters and trying to take an unusual angle on a story.

With a 60+ hour per week job and a young child I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to writing, so things tend to take a long time to percolate through my mind.
