Hi! Just wanted to let you know that you are reading my books  little out of order. The ORIGINAL series has Original in the titles which are completed. The NEW versions have REWRITTEN in the title. 
          
          Just so you know since you seemed confused about it. :)

@Sweet4grease jim doesnt appear in the old, completed versions i wrote, so no he will not be there. Again, the books that ONLY say Original in the title which are on bks 1-4 means that those are the ones i wrote first. 
            
            the book 1 and currently 2 of the REWRITTEN version which says it in the title, are NEW ones that i wrote after changing things and characters. so if you read the new versions, they DO NOT fit with the OLD versions.

@SAMiAMiz I guess the part throwing me off the most is that now I'm on to book 3 and Emeel and Mr. Dennison are together. . No Jim  in sight.

@Sweet4grease the book that stops mid battle is the NEW VERSION not the original. in the new one, Thea's dad is alive. in the ORIGINAL version, Thea's dad is dead. i have not written the NEW versions of bk 3 or 4.
