PLEASE CONTINUE AND FINISH THE STORY. Absolutely dying to find out, does Zack finally realise what an emotionally confused idiot he is and that it’s always been love he feels for Maddi but not realising it. Does Maddi spiral into major depression and attempt suicide that nearly successful that shocks everyone (no one noticed). Plus the whole Paige and Rick (boys tend to pick-on the girls they like!). You could do a whole second book on Paige and Ricks shenanigans, adventures and emotional roller coaster. You are covering the blossoming romance of Vanessa and Ethan but I wonder if that not part of why Maddi’s depression escalated. Watching with envy their perfect matching and intense love that everyone craves, plus being so caught up In themselves they don’t realise the more Maddi is left alone. And if Rick and Paige begin a romance too, she will also go MIA and when girls are together its always relationship talk (inadvertently rubbing in the fact that she is alone and still loves Zack). And without her Mum home and whilst happy for her friends she feels the horrible self-loathing and torturous emotional/physical loneliness tearing her apart. Constantly seeing everyone happy daily at school in their own bubbles of bliss Breaks her into making that final decision that she has no more energy for fake smiles and “I’m Fine” so plans her final goodbye making a special box for each person with a letter plus special items (like the keychain and photos from theme park for Paige; a recoding of all the songs her and Mum would dance in kitchen to including a voice message of memories of her Dad and their special song (What a Wonderful World....don’t know title), even for Theo and Rick (threatens Rick to be good to Paige or she’ll haunt his ass forever, etc). So once she is induced coma, fighting for life they each discover their personalised box Maddi left causing sole-searching and realisation their failure towards this incredible girl. Will she survive??
