I haven't given up on writing, and I have stories that aren't finished, I just don't find the time to sit and write as easily anymore. But when I get a chance, I am here, and I will finish all my ongoing stories eventually. I have ideas for new stories, but I will refrain from starting anything new until I finish the "in progress" works. :)

@Nanaboo0809 this worthless app did away with the private message option :/ But no, I don't have an LLC, I had to provide my legal name and social security number, and if I make over so much in a year, I'd get a 1099 for filing purposes. Etsy is pretty good on getting you set up, they don't miss any important stuff, and I wasn't confused setting up my shop, everything is explained as you go.
@Taefantasies I've been trying to figure out how to send a private message but can't seem to find that option anymore. Am I overlooking it . Anyway I wanted to ask does one need an LLC and EIN to sell on Etsy?

Unfortunately, life just keeps happening, and I never seem to find the time I crave to just sit down and lose myself in the joy of writing.
I feel awful, but at the same time, I doubt anyone is that invested in my work, or waiting that eagerly. I've been so neglectful of my stories, I really can't blame anyone who has given up on them.
All I can say is I'm still here. I'll try to do better. I appreciate you if you are still here, still waiting on an ongoing story to be updated.

So I know I've said it before, and obviously still haven't found much time to write...But trust me when I say it's not because I don't want to! I miss writing soooo much!!!
Now that summer is winding down here, and fall will be upon us soon, I have more hope that I will eventually be able to make some time to sit down here and write on the stories that are ongoing. I'm so sorry to anyone who was reading them, and I truly hope you are still here to continue once I start updating again. If not, I sure can't hold it against you, I don't like waiting for updates myself, and tend to only read stories that are completed. So I totally understand.
But once the days start getting shorter, and I'm done outside earlier because it's gotten dark, I plan to spend more time here. It may take until it's actually winter, because my yard is full of trees, and once those leaves start falling, it's a whole ass job just to try to keep them off my porches.
But just know that I haven't given up on my stories, and I will continue them. There may be an update here and there for now, but I promise, I will finish them.
Huge hugs to everyone who still follows me, I love you all so much, and I wouldn't be here without you!

Hi guys! So I have a bit of a dilemma, and I'm hoping you guys can chime in with advice/ideas!
Some of you may remember, and others may not have even known, but either way, I would love any and all feedback on this situation. My story, "Every Time it Rains" is a published work on Kindle Direct Publishing. I changed names, and self published it awhile back. While it hasn't sold a ton, I have made a few bucks here and there from it. Problem is, I hadn't logged onto the KDP account in awhile, and when I tried to log in yesterday, I couldn't. Someone hacked my account. Changed the phone number, and the banking info.
I did the account recovery, sent a picture of my drivers license, and got an email that I could now log in. Still can't. Phone number still wrong, and two factor authentication was turned on, so I can't get the code. Replied to the email, informed I'd been hacked, and because it was late, went to bed. This morning, had gotten another email saying we think you've been hacked, and the steps they took, and what to do. I tried. No account with that email. Customer service is a joke. No help at all. Still can't get in. My book is still on amazon for sale. I'm not upset about not getting any royalties, (maybe a little) cause it's not like I was selling much, although I am curious where any royalties are going if the hacker closed the account. Possibly they changed the email?
Anyway, what would you guys do. I can create another account, and upload the book again, but what about the one already on amazon. I'm so frustrated, and I'm just not even sure what to do. That's my story, I wrote it, and I want it back. What would you guys do?

Well, we shall see how this goes. I've been emailing back and forth with Kindle Direct Publishing, and as it stands, they are planning to delete a duplicate account that was found, and then let me reset my password on the original account. I'm not sure how it will work, as I did inform them that I received emails stating my bank account info and phone number had been changed, but they have assured me it has not. I don't have high hopes, but I'll see this through and see what happens. Thanks @dvnoixx and @GomHorangi for your positive words, I really appreciate it!
@Taefantasies Oh dear.. that is terrible.. It's sad that you're having to experience this. And I'm sorry I'm no help at all cause I don't use kindle and don't really know how these things work. I hope things get sorted soon. Take care
