I believe a severe case of myopia has contributed somewhat to my keen "eye" for the obvious and disregard for the oblivious who continue to feed my chronic indignation on a regular basis. Ranting is a favoured pastime, one generally accompanied and fuelled by a pint or two of Dark Matter (a local microbrew). I am also dragging my feet toward the age when women "wear purple."  If it weren't for online banking, I could soon be terrorizing the tellers at my local credit union over outrageous banking fees or boring them with precious anecdotes about the cat(s) I will have rescued. Writing keeps the men in white coats at bay. I hope to come here often and will add more about me later, in case anyone is interested.
