I'm not typically one for long introductions, so I'll try to keep this brief. I'm TheOctoberKnight (I had to tag the 'The' on the beginning because *somebody* already took the name 'OctoberKnight.' Le sigh), but you can call me anything you like. . . Though I prefer it'd be something moderately civil.

Here are a few things you should know about me before you venture further: 
~I don't update fast (life's kind of busy). 
~I do err on the side of practicality, but I'm one hell of a hopeless romantic, so. . . ROMANCE WARNING. 
~I don't like smut, so you won't be seeing that in my writing. 
~Speaking of writing, I'll be posting fanfictions (I do try to make them halfway decent). 
~I write fanfiction for both the fun of it and testing styles and scenarios out. Because of this, while I do want people to look at what I write and enjoy it, I really couldn't care less whether anyone likes it or not. I write for me, and if you happen to like it, that's a plus! 
~Aaaaand last but not least, I don't particularly enjoy using swear words, so there won't be a lot of that in my writing. 

If you got past all that, you're a very patient person, which means you're someone who should probably hang around here from time to time. As I said before, I'm not a fast updater (I'd be faster if life was nicer to me), so don't get your hopes up too much, please.
