Sorry I need to vent really quick; I hate telling other people that I'm aspiring to be a professional writer. Before, the response was "you'll never make money" which fine, whatever, all creatives are told that but NOW the response is "better look for a new aspiration because AI is just going to take that from you."
I am so sick of hearing about AI all the damn time. I hate this defeatist attitude towards it where "everyone is using it so might as well give up" because no.
I refuse to allow a robot to write, make art, make movies, all that shit because sure, it can imitate but I deeply believe it can never fully replace, because the one thing a robot will never be able to have that a human has is one fundamental about being a creative, and that's emotion.
Emotions you feel when reading a story, watching movie, or even viewing an art piece. These things move you, make you feel and make you think. Anything AI makes will never give that same feeling because it's soulless.
I don't care what anyone says or what companies do, I will never give up on being a writer. Even if it never becomes my actual job, I will never stop writing. AND I would rather die then ever allow for a damn robot to write for me. I will always and forever have all my works be 100% human made, because this is something I've been passionate about and dreaming of ever since I was young and in kindergarten, creating my own stories and being told by teachers that I had a future in literature. That I'll never ever give up.
