I’m so happy to hear you say you’ll not release anything unless you’re happy with it because it’s worth waiting longer than reading rushed work. (Which yours never is.)

these things in truth could have driven a person to the brink of madness. and most importantly i began to see that story focused on elena's emotions, her sadness, the drama, and her problem with men, to the point that the themes of survival and the seriousness of the risks-like daryl's way of thinking, his argument with her. and the emphasis on her resilience-were almost entirely absent. i really don't know how to explain my view of this version of the story to you well, and i apologize if i talk to much and i don't mean to upset you with my words. i'm just giving you my personal opinion about this story and this is my first time contacting you. i want to say that i really like your writing style, your storie. and i'm looking forward to your new novels and think you for reading my comment.

i don't mind how you interpret the events of elena Monro's story. but don't you think is's a bit exaggerated? it's not really an exaggeration, but almost everything revolves around elena, since entering the survival world, everyone she's connected to has died on so many occasions that it no longer seems like a coincidence, or something that happens regularly, or that fate is unfair. elena suffered numerous traumas that led her to make wrong decision that's true. but if you examine each trauma, you'll find that each one was more devastating then the last. like losing her only sister and her unborn child, or how everyone relied on her, burdening her with responsibility despite her young age, or how men pressured her without considering her feelings.

i think you misundrerstood me too, as i didn't finish my comment because i didn't understand wattpad. also because i am an arab boy of syrian origin, i am still a beginner in English and i often use a translator. my discussion of the characters isn't the real reason my perspective on the story changed. and you're right, you're not wrong in what you said, the world of the walking dead is unfair and needs some plot tension. but I'm not the type of person who looks for stories with happy ending and resolution. i prefer realistic stories with sound logic, and that's exactly wath led me to discover you through alyssa grimes story.

l'll be honest with you. lnitially. i liked this new version of the elena monroe story. this was, of course after you changed some things in the old story and made it more realistic and rational. bout with the new chapters and the less-than-ideal changes, i no longer want to continue reading it, for obvious reasons. firstly, you made elena's character extremely weak and stupid in her cecisions in this version of the story. elena's character was supposed to become strong and tough in a short period of time after all the traumas she had experience. secondly, in this story, i thought you had changed ivy's fate after she had survived for so long and thought you had decided to spare on member of elena's family. bout that didn't happen, and you gave ivy a horrible death that she didn't deserve. thirdly, you didn't change anything when you said negan would be extremely cruel. you simply made him do disgusting things with elena, like kissing her, before making him look like a father to her. this means nothing has changed. and negan is still an ally.

I think you’ve mistaken vulnerability for weakness. Elena isn’t supposed to become emotionally bulletproof because she’s experienced trauma. If anything, trauma often makes people irrational, reactive and contradictory. Real people don’t heal in a straight line, and neither does she. She’ll make bad decisions. She’ll trust the wrong people. She’ll regress. That’s the point.
Ivy’s death wasn’t there for shock value or because she “deserved” it. The apocalypse isn’t fair. Good people die. If every character readers loved survived simply because they’re loved, there’d be no stakes.
As for Negan, I think you’ve misunderstood what I was aiming for. Nuanced doesn’t mean redeemed. A person can be manipulative, charismatic, paternal, abusive and protective all at once. Those contradictions are exactly what make him an interesting character. If he were cruel 100% of the time he’d become predictable, and predictable villains are boring.

It sounds like you wanted a different story, and that’s completely okay. But these aren’t oversights they’re deliberate character choices.
