I have not been able to read in ages - or much of anything really. I'm on a new medication that puts me to sleep as a nice side effect.
I'm supposed to take it 1st thing in the morning but, upon almost wrecking my car twice, I switched it to night. After still falling asleep randomly, I switched it to every Other night.
Are you supposed to make changes like that? Absolutely Not. I've worked in pharmacies & doctors' offices.
Would I rather let myself die by taking it regularly? Absotively Posilutely Not.
I'm just lucky that I never got the desk job that goes with my now $60,000, in student loans, degree.
Instead, I'm on my feet all day & able to stay awake. I would have already lost said job if I had gotten it

@VailedStarz I made the decision to stop taking it. The only thing you can do with a prescription, that's worse, is to have a heavy OD. Suddenly stopping a medication can be brutal on your system. However, I think this is actually much safer for me. I got a written warning at work the other day - as well as a couple of verbals. I cannot function on my days off & I obv can't be on my best at work either. Excuse me but I have a mortgage to pay & my kid NEEDS a cardiologist I cannot even find cause of falling asleep all the time. It's a necessary med for my thyroid but life is more necessary. It's been 2 days without it & I'm starting to feel better now.

@VailedStarz I've been searching for a new doctor - since this one never listened to anything I had to say. Unfortunately, I tend to fall asleep at the computer too
