I'm relieved! But I'm curious to know if you have a "deleted" tab at the side of your computer. Reason I'm asking is, someone got a hold of your email address to be able to contact you that way. If I knew who they were I could ask them to help me promote my book. If it definitely was Wattpad that contacted you then I'm sure they'd help me out. All this would help since I'm really struggling to spread the word about The Wake. I'm poor at marketing and break out in cold sweats when new twitter ploys are put to me, for example.

@ColmHerron I understand. Several of my short stories -- including Terminal Gravity available to read for free above -- are included in literary collections out of Australia, Mexico, UK & USA that barely sold.

I'm nervous that you might feel I've been very forward in asking you at this early stage to consider reviewing The Wake. Please don't let that put you off it. 
          
          Since I'm so caught up in trying to promote my novel I'd be interested to know in what way you found out about it by email. I'm trying so many ways and I'd love to know what form that email took. Thanks!

@ColmHerron No, no, no! I was thrilled by your note. I just wanted to read more of your book before I commented, and I've been swamped with other stuff. On page 44 now, and really enjoying the voice. I will write one on Amazon.
            
            I received a Wattpad email notice of a video interview an author did in which she talked about asking you to join in that write-a-novel-in-November program and then being embarrassed to realize she'd invited such an accomplished writer to participate. Made me curious about you so looked you up. Sorry, I don't know who the woman was and have since killed off the email. 
            
            I am not a good Wattpadder. I kind of peruse it once in a while but it's so  vast and the majority seems to be romance and horror.  I've posted a few times but never found the home I had on Redroom so am focusing on finishing a novel for now.

Thank you Vivian! I'm trying my damnedest to promote this thing because my publisher has left me in the lurch. So if you're still reading The Wake at episode 13 you'll see I've made a very bold request. I hope you don't think I'm being too bold. Your comment lifted my heart.
