@RepulsiveKiyo on god, cuz there's always the argument of "this super genius who was so genius that mfs thought he was a mutation and the next step in evolution" couldn't see that ichinose might not wanna fw him anymore? Part of my hoped kinu plays it safe and just makes him win, it'll be much harder to pull of koji losing in a satisfying way.

@Weeba9 I read in some fanfic where he transferred to Ichinose's class which was class D at that time and took the reigns. All other classes joined forces to defeat him. At last he lost because Ichinose herself betrayed him cuz she didn't want her and her class to be used for his personal agendas, rather than complete fulfillment. And even that didn't feel satisfying enough. Just goes on to tell who Kiyo is

@Kefarid Ehh, i don't think they're meant to be the best in Japan. I feel as though they're all assessed on potential ig? And then given the opportunity to develop into those who could be the best, since Sudo's definitely not the best, neither Ike or Yamauchi either.
            
            Besides that, Ayanokouji's just impossible to defeat. No matter how Kinu does it, In my personal opinion I don't think it'll be satisfactory. I'm all for having a main character who loses a bunch like shii one of my favourite characters is Vegeta but it doesn't make sense with Koji and it never will. Sure it might push the philosophical thing further but it'll compromise the story itself. It can still go deeper in politics, and it might become that Koji develops as a person to the point that he feels pity on Horikita and allows her to win, essentially losing due to his 'emotions' in some way. Although falling in love with Horikita is still a bit weird but better than mfs talking about Koji losing.
            
            It'd take a LOT of work for Ayanokouji to truly lose in a satisfying way e.g feeling pity thing would take a lot of build-up so that people don't think it's abrupt or sudden.

@Edwayuki but it's still peak fiction. I mean it's a bit rushed and some character friendships felt forced but overall it's just better.

@Weeba9 it was one of the longest manga names i heard.

@Weeba9 If you start posting them I'll definitely check it out, the MHA one looks especially interesting. The type of fics I like the most are Canon Divergence fics, fics that answer 'What if' questions. For example you could write an MHA fic where Deku never got OFA or one where Deku was born with a quirk. If you are looking to branch out you could do it this way. Also I'm currently binge watching Code Geass so maybe I'll check out TLOK afterwards.

@LuciferX23 I can understand what you're saying, there's some stuff out there which is just horrible in terms of the shipping with FMC and after seeing all those issues i thought, "Damn i could do this better though." and after a while of thinking i decided that yeah how about i prove to myself that i can do it better. 
            
            Also by this does that mean you won't be reading if i were to start posting? If you want me to branch out differently i wonder how exactly i should because i feel kinda restricted just being a 'CoTE' author, some people are fine with it, and i was fine with it until recently. Last thing, you're missing out on TLOK, it's not as good as ATLA in my opinion but it takes more of a...'realistic' approach.

@Weeba9  To be frank man, I usually never enjoy SI/OC fics. Sometimes they are so edgy it makes me cringe while at the same time the romance between the OC and the FMC feels very forced. As for you wanting to branch out of COTE, I fully support you on that(I have enjoyed both MHA and ATLA, never watched TLOK), its just that SI OC is not my cup of tea. There may be others who enjoy them though so don't let my words prevent you from doing what you want to do.
