@BaereadHeavanswork brainrot means low quality internet content. Funny enough, it actually can rot your brain. Neurologists and neuroscientists are studying the effects of brainrot as we speak. Side effect induce: a reduced attention span, memory issues, mental fatigue, difficulty concentrating, mood swings, anxiety, cognitive decline (aka brainrot- shocking I know), confusion, coordination problems, emotional instability, personality shifts, speech difficulties, stress, depression, and a distorted perception of reality. 

@BaereadHeavanswork you’re right but it also shows an acceptance of toxicity. I think it’s something our culture needs to fix. I blame rap music and how it’s raised generations of men to disrespect and disregard black women while uplifting light skin women and white women. Now black female rappers do it too. Look at Glorilla. She’s facing a lot of backlash due to colorism and homophobia… borderline transphobia maybe idk. 
            
            Plus- these young girls on here… 12…13… if they don’t have a good male model or a mama or big sister to set them straight… the books they read stoke their understanding of what love and relationships are. Fr. I’ve been in some crazy comment sections before. 
            
            

@WhatItMeansToBeKing really what is the meaning of brainrot? Cause I dont know ... but! Honestly, in real life most people do look for a positive happy relationship. I think its just when writting and reading we lead more towards bad influences, but then again yeah its still sad.  But I do understand both sides . Ive seen so many young women fall into that trap, personally I'd like to guide them into the right direction but sometimes they dont listen unless it gets bad like they, cant blame them either until u really go through it
