I actually started writing Harry Potter fan fiction some time ago, publishing my stories on Fanfiction.net under the pen-name Starlight. I wanted to use that same pen-name here on Wattpad but there were too many Starlights so I opted for Winterlight instead.

I took a long break after the HP fanfics, but then got back into it because I became interested in Boku no Hero Academia, and I've now finished a trilogy about Hitoshi Shinsou.

When writing I like to have a balance of "everything", in that I hope to make my readers laugh a little, cry a little, and also have a little bit of romance thrown in. Ultimately I hope to write something with heart, and about the human spirit, so that readers can take something back with them, long after they've finished reading the story.

My stories are usually book-length because that gives me more chance to develop the characters and create a more complex plot. I normally like trying to give my readers the feeling that they're reading a "real book", hence I don't put comments before or after the chapters. However, feedback is always welcome, so do leave a comment if you have any feedback to give!
