Hi, my friends! Just returned after my two-week holiday after passing my exam. Hooray! I had a beautiful time in the Lake District--so relaxing in the mountains.
The time before NaNoWriMo will be one of learning from the best, honing my skills, and planning for my next story. As such, I'll be taking Masterclasses with Neil Gaiman and others to improve my skills. I've already started his class and LOVE it.
I'll be taking notes and playing with ideas on this profile. So you can find me here until Nov 1, after which I might hop back over to @Carolyn_Hill for NaNoWriMo. During this time, I'll be trying things there with training wheels first. ;)
Are any of you dying to see me write a particular book for NaNo? I'm thinking about going with paranormal romance from Down the Rabbit Hole, but I'm open for suggestions.
Sorry for the epic novel, but I had a lot to say. :D

Yaaaaas! Now that I've passed my Life in the UK exam, I can chill for my two-week holiday! Woot!
Time to start toying with some ideas for stories. I think I'm going to write some short stories to start. What do you think?

@Lexis_Bergwald I love short stories. They get the creativity flowing and you get a sense of accomplishment for finishing in a relatively short period of time.

@NicoDreamyMouse I'm studying for an exam right now, so not within the next week or so. After that, I'll start to post mini projects on here for masterclasses and to experiment with new genres. Or just to play around with new ideas. Think of this account as my scratch pad to try out new things. Whereas @Carolyn_Hill will be for serious, epic projects...if that makes sense?

@Lexis_Bergwald yay, so exciting. Let me know what you think of the masterclasses. Still scribbling to finish the projects I set for my New Years Resolution, it is looking like 2021 is going to be the Year of the Red Pen for me.

@MamaMagie Work has slowed down quite a bit due to the lockdown, but I've been using that time to read a lot of resources on writing, brushing up on my craft, and branching into new territory. I'm also taking masterclasses, which are fun. And I'm preparing for British citizenship! How about you?
