Hey, what do you think about this situation when authors justify their evil characters' deeds with "childhood traumas" or "awful loss"? Do you think that I did the same in my book?

Honestly, I wasn't trying to. I wanted readers to see my main character for what he truly was: evil. I wanted people to see that circumstances may traumatise us but what matters for other people is our actual acts and no excuses are enough to justify traumas we bring to others because of our own pain.

Do you think I nailed it? Or is my character just another justified villain?

These words are everything to me. I'm so caught up with my studies and yet I write this story because that's like the only thing keeping me sane. I'm so glad to have such lovely feedbacks and beautiful readers with me. 'U'
