Dear Nidhi
I don't know what demotivated you or why you stopped writing, and I don't want to make assumptions. But I felt I had to tell you something.
I'm actually the kind of person who never comments or messages authors. I usually read quietly and move on. But for some reason, I couldn't do that this time.
Before COVID, I wasn't a reader at all. I never enjoyed reading books. During the lockdown, I randomly came across some stories on Facebook, and that eventually led me to Wattpad. Then I found your stories.
I don't think you realize this, but you were the reason I fell in love with reading. You turned a non-reader into a reader. Your stories became the beginning of a habit that is still a part of my life today. I now genuinely enjoy reading books, and it all started because of your writing.
So if you're ever wondering whether your stories mattered or made a difference, they absolutely did. They changed someone who never thought they'd enjoy reading into someone who can't imagine life without books.
I don't know if you'll ever write again, and whatever your reason is, I respect it. I just wanted you to know that your words meant far more than you probably realize.
One last thing—I'm not very good at putting my feelings into words. So yes, I took a little help from ChatGPT to write this. The words may have been polished, but every emotion and every thought in this message is completely mine.
Thank you for giving me something I never knew I was missing.
If you ever think your books didn't matter, I hope you'll remember this message. They mattered. They made a non-reader fall in love with reading. They mattered to me more than you'll probably ever know.
With love
A silent reader..♥️
