          Tonight’s chapter is the breather we’ve all been needing. It’s chaotic, flirty, wholesome, and full of the kind of laughter that only happens when the people who know you best finally meet the person who’s been making you smile a little differently.

          Because somewhere between old photo albums, community day chaos, suspicious “friend” behavior, and one backwards-hat-wearing baseball boy being entirely too noticeable…
          
          Nari starts realizing something.
          
          Maybe summer isn’t just something she’s trying to survive.
          
          Maybe Lovett Ridge isn’t just a place she’s passing through.
          
          And maybe Connor Lovett is becoming a little harder to ignore than she planned.

          Tonight, I want to talk about something a little deeper.
          
          Not plot twists.
          Not deadlines.
          Not word counts.
          
          I want to talk about the parts of ourselves that quietly find their way onto the page.
          
          Because I don’t think we ever write stories that are completely separate from us.
          
          A piece of us always slips into them.
          
          For me, Burden of Proof has become that story.
          
          I started writing it from a place of grief, but somewhere along the way, it also became a story about learning how to be emotionally available. About what it means to let people in, to communicate the things that scare us, and to choose vulnerability even when every instinct tells us to stay guarded.
          
          In a lot of ways, I think I’ve been growing alongside my characters.
          
          So now I want to ask you:
          
           What story has taught you something about yourself?
          
          It doesn’t have to be one you wrote.
          
          Maybe it was a book that found you at exactly the right time.
          Maybe it was a character who made you feel seen.
          Or maybe it was a story you created that quietly helped heal a part of you.
