I have a separate account but I made this one for one reason and one reason only. I'm a Nigerian. In my country and many other African countries, you are at risk of imprisonment for being anything remotely LGBT if caught. The queers here have no rights so we hide away in the darkness, pretending like we don't exist while we yearn for what feels like the impossible; to be free. Brothers. Sisters. Siblings. I feel you. I understand. So I'm here to join the small community of Nigerian LGBTQIA+ writers. Because we all have our stories. We need. To be. Heard.
