@AlicePadley haha! Just random luck... Or I sat here since I posted quietly waiting for your reply... Writing tips! Gosh. Write fast and edit slow. Read craft books. Practice (a five minute writing sprint every day will massively improve your writing). The first draft is supposed to be terrible, dont worry: get it down and then you'll have something to improve I wish I'd had those tips a few years ago, I also wish I kept to them now!
