"Writing takes your dreams and makes them reality"

My journey to becoming a writer has undoubtedly been a tough one...I had a speech and learning impediment until the age of twelve. I hated any sort of writing - but over the years, I developed a love for reading and that's when I discovered the true nature of what writing can hold. It can open up new worlds to new threats...new heroes...new civilisations. Just like everything else in my life, I became fixed on it. 

I remember spending my Summer Holiday's reading non stop and each book I read transfixed me into a state of curiosity and excitement. Then it occurred to me that I may as well have a go at writing a book myself. The first short story I ever wrote took me an entire year and is lost, but I remember it being extremely disjointed and full of nonsense..it was called Under The Stairs, and there would be scenes in Victorian London, the core of the earth and a tunnel through the Earth filled with locusts. Not my biggest achievement - but everyone has to start somewhere and that was my origin story. 

The next few, admittedly weren't as good - Maze and Dimensions - were ones that made very little sense and I was still trying to get to grasp with the whole writing thing...mind you, by that time I was in my last year of Primary School and that's when my writing kicked off. I got the highest score in my English SATs and no longer had my speech and learning impediment.

Four years later and I have written a total of fifteen books, and completed a drama of one of them - and I have just announced that I will film another one with my friend, Jack. I am excited about this new project, and will continue with my writing in the process of filming.
