NaNoWriMo got me more addicted to writing than I have ever been. I haven't really stopped since. But it all comes back to a love for books. Some of my favorite authors are JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, S.E. Hinton, and John Green. A few of my favorite books are Tuesdays With Morrie, Perks of Being A Wallflower, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
