When did we decide that avocados are gonna be the fruit/vegetable of our generation?

Oh my gosh... HAPPY NEW YEAR. I feel like having a mental break down. I. Am. Not. Ready!!!! 
          
          But either way this was a pretty wonderful year. I hope 2019 will be just as great. Maybe better. So let's raise our glasses up and welcome it with open arms, even though I kind of want to slap it for barging in on 2018.
