@baffydelout exactly!! Band kids also have a lot more drama than you'd think haha. It makes perfect writing material. I had a mixed band experience the first couple of years but it got passable later on, even tho we constantly switched band directors, and they didn't last more than a year. And trust me all the jock stereotypes were true for the most part. There were a couple exceptions but for the most part I hated how my school treated band kids

@kazsgoldenkruge hahaha that's exactly how I felt when I was writing it. With such a large population of band kids, I am surprised there are not more books like it.
