I began writing my Fallout series more than a decade ago, and the story has grown and evolved alongside me. 

I spent over a decade in the military and draw heavily on that practical experience when writing about operations, survival and conflict. 

An avid gamer, I discovered the Fallout series after returning from Afghanistan, with Fallout: New Vegas quickly becoming my favourite. 

I currently live in Ottawa, Ontario, and have travelled to the real-world locations featured throughout the novel to better capture their atmosphere and landscape. 

I am particular about details and strive to remain faithful to established canon, timelines and characters while expanding the world in ways that feel believable.
