Small update for RIDGEFIRE readers 
          	
          	The first two chapters have just received a major update. They were rewritten, polished, and expanded with new scenes to better match the tone and writing style of the later chapters.
          	
          	The main plot stays the same, but the beginning now has more depth, smoother pacing, and a little more of the atmosphere I originally wanted for this story.
          	
          	So if you’ve already read them, you might want to revisit Chapters 1 and 2. There’s some new content waiting for you.
