Charles began writing when he was thirteen years old after the death of his grandmother. After a near-death experience when he was sixteen, his mind, and later his heart, became sensitive to the art. It's rumored that his pain fuels his passion like gasoline to a fire.

During the darkest year of his life, Charles thought he was living in the last days of his life, and wrote a series of poems pertaining to his life adventures and what he was going through in that season. Later, he published his first book of dark poetry, 'Darkness Before the Dawn,' at age twenty-one.

Now twenty-seven, Charles is awaiting the release of his first novel; which documents his journey starting on the day he nearly died, spanning across six years into the heart of darkness and into the light at the other side. Keep an eye out for, 'From Darkness to Light: A Sinner's Memoir.'

Also, Charles is working on re-mastering his first book of poetry, adding the subtitle, 'A Poetic Journey.' He plans on posting the re-make on Wattpad one chapter at a time at the beginning of every month during the production process.
