Well, I'm back to writing for a little bit and brought a surprise with me xd. I feel awful for taking such a long break, but I needed to make some life changes and get used to them I suppose. Updates may not be as frequent as they used to be, but I plan to release some new fics soon. I've done a bit of a deep cleaning for the fics I fully know I most likely won't finish. I'd like to get back to working on my JW: Rebirth story, but it's going to require a bit of an overhaul, and it may take some time. As you can maybe see, I worked privately on a Stranger Things fic around the time leading up to season five and decided to publish it for those looking for some fics with the season out lol. I'm planning a TOPGUN and One Piece (very different, I know) fic soon that may have a release window anywhere from this week to the next. Agin I am so sorry for the sudden lack of updates but those of you that have checked in and stuck with me, thanks from the bottom of my heart. It means so much. - Cass

So, I took a break but definitely not in the fashion I wanted. About a week or two ago, I lost my grandmother and it was a total shock to me. Due to some family complications, I'm shifting my entire life around, the easiest way to put it haha. I tried to get chapters out when I could but unfortunately motivation for a lot of my current projects has fallen, and so has my interest. 
          
          She unfortunately passed of heart complications, and given the nature of the Jurassic World Rebirth film, and it being the last one we ever watched together, just felt so cruel and almost poetic that it may be a while before I can bring myself to write more chapters, and I feel horrible because I adore Sydnee and Henry's story. The domestic home life of Bucky and Esme was very much inspired by her as well. 
          
          Don't ever deny when people say life can be poetically beautiful and evil in equal fashion! 
          
          Of course, as you may have noticed in the updates of the rewritten Sun To Me, I've resorted to my roots. Literally. She was a huge fan of the book, no matter how silly and poorly written, and wanted it repurposed to be original. She was an avid Western romance and Amish romance reader. 
          
          I suppose the best way to put it is honoring her, and helping cope for the time being. Now, there's going to be a book for just about every character you can think of in that darn film haha. Sort of. Tyler, Javi, Boone by popular demand, even Scott and Kate. 
          
          Once those books are over, then I should have time and hopefully healing enough to continue, as none of you all deserve a sudden hiatus like this.

@KleoKate thanks TT it means a lot, really! Thankfully it's been a few weeks and this almost came at perfect timing, because I've decided to slowly pick up some books again! My cousin came over and we watched Rebirth, as she's been wanting to for awhile, and I absolutely love the movie and can't hide forever, you know? And watching it made me miss Henry and Sydnee and you know how it goes lol. So, if I can get over my writers block and the slump I'm in for how to continue from where I left off there, maybe a new chapter tonight or tomorrow? If you have ideas, I WILL take them. 
            
            Was also planning on making a new fic for the dragon age franchise but that's pretty niche haha. I'd pick back up the sun to me fic, but these past few weeks working on an original story took it's place haha.

Hey guys! Just wanted to say that after my current books are finished, or before depending on how I'm feeling, that I'll probably be taking a long break from writing. Now that I'm back in college and exams are cramming too close together, I won't have as much time to work, and that isn't fair leaving you days or a week without updates. I hope you understand and can't wait to write for you all again, once time (and tbh my mid college mental state) permits.

@KleoKate thank you! ^^ the exams have long since been over, and I feel bad for keeping everyone in the dark with no updates. I'll eventually need to make a post, but a few days ago I lost my grandmother, and am needing to kind of switch my life around. It was so sudden and wrecking, but she was my number one writing supporter, so I'll keep it up as much as I can for her.
