I cant wait for my Southern Gothic book to come out when I finish my Athens University series!! Its gonna be called 'To wash my sins away' based off the town I grew up in(Phelps Kentucky). Its gonna be in alabama or Kentucky in the early 2000s cause thats how it was growing up for me due to time dialation in small poor country towns. Will he exploring religious trauma, paranormal events(where we and the characters both dont know if its real or not, which is what its like growing up in appalachia), and romance. I CANT WAITTTTTT. UGH. Unlike my Athens Uni series, there will be black, white, hispanic, and native amerian peoples in this story sooo yea!!

..guess im publishing my poetry now. I have full stories planned out and finished but im awful at dialogue, sooo that'll probably never happen but‍♀️

my boyfriend was picking out food from Dave's hot chicken and I wanted a chicken sandwich but it had pickles on it. My boyfriend knows I love pickles but I dont like the texture they have in sandwiches/burgers so he asked if I wanted them off. As soon as i opened my mouth to say "yea but leave em on the side" he interrupted me to say "you want em on the side tho right?". i mentioned this maybe twice in passing, not enought to truly remember, but he did. He remembered something so miniscule. Be with someone who remembers your picked preferences. Thats how you know youre seen. Thats how you know someone loves you. A tiny little detail. Dont ever settle for less. I mean it.

as a woman, please love yourself enough to never be the "atleast he came home to me" girl because thats such a low level of self love you should never ever be at. a nigga being around a bunch of women and coming home to you doesn't mean he loves you, it means he knows youre accessible. He knows youre easy. Dont ever fucking be that woman, love yourself so much more than that. If you get cheated on but he still comes home to you, its not cause he wants you, he just wants to have something to come home too while he does whatever the fuck he wants. EASY ACCESS DOES NOT EQUAL LOVE. COMFORTABLY DOES NOT EQUAL WANT.
