Does anyone know a book where the Gillian isn’t really a villain and where the real villain brings them comfort and they just never felt that so they never want to loose it but hero’s come in and they just get that connection also but it feels more genuine and more warm than the real villain so they start to be with them more so the “villain” gets killed at the end or something like that I just honestly want a story of someone who wants to find comfort not love could be idc finds a more healthy version but dies for it happily with no regrets
