( inspired by a webtoon I read. Hope it's okay ^^;)

One of the most embarrassing things one could think of would be to attending your ex's wedding without a date. Yes, that was humiliating. Shuichi should think so; after breaking up with Kaede, he never got together with anyone. He just couldn't find anyone he was interested in, no matter hard be tried. It was humiliating , sad , and well, sad. He knew Kaede would look at him with sympathy and so would everyone else. The only reason Shuichi was coming was because he was such good friends with Kaede and he was invited. Shuichi didn't know how to say no anyway. Even if he wanted to.
So he would just have to make a date then. Shuichi was desperate. Desperate enough he borrowed a book on witchcraft and spells and found a spell to summon a demon, who would do anything for the caster in return for Shuichi's soul after death. Did Shuichi think this would even work? If so, the demon world be his pretend girlfriend right?! Shuichi made a summoning circle with paint on his garage floor since he didn't want to ruin the floors in his house, and began to chant the spell.
Suddenly black smoke and red lightning began to appear and spark from the circle. A figure began to rise out of the floor; it had red eyes and a wide bloodthirsty grin. But as scary as it looked at first, the scary aura vanished and a cute boy around Shuichi's age appeared. The demon wore black knee high shorts, stockings, a white collar shirt and black vest. He had purple and ebony-colored scaly wings. He blinked, then looked over at Shuichi who was on the floor.
"Huh ? Oh . So you're the human who summoned me.." he flew over and leaned down, holding out a hand, a smirk on his pink lips. "I'm Kokichi Oma. Your new demon."

@determined-detective ◇ "Shuichi Saihara.." Kokichi repeated the name to himself as if to remember it. Then he nodded. "Yep that's me." Kokichi was already starting to follow Shuichi. "Hey, Saihara-chan when is this wedding? How are we gonna get there? Oh, what's your blood type?" The demon certainly did like to talk and talk . Well, he hadn't seen a human in ages– literally. He had been bored.

@determined-detective ◇ Kokichi made a face, feeling almost offended he apparently didn't suit Shuichi's standards. Oh well. Shuichi didn't deny Kokichi was attractive, so he'll let it go. "Fine then," Kokichi sighed, stretching his neck then his arms. Though he glanced over when Shuichi mentioned they didn't to get going and ready. The demon grinned. "Alright ! Let's hurry and get going–" he paused. "Oh right. You didn't tell me your name," he pointed out, pointing at Shuichi. It might be suspicious pretending to be his date when he didn't even know his date's name.

Kaito noticed the young detective from the corner of his eye and that brought a smile to his lips. He went after Shuichi and then, from behind, he threw an arm around his shoulders. "Hey, Shuichi." He gave a grin. " So! What's my sidekick up to right now, hm? If it's nothing, I figured we could hang out." The ultimate astronaut offered brightly.

"yeah! the same goes for me, too." the luminary of the stars spoke lowly and then glanced over at the detective from the corner of his eye while smiling lightly to himself. "let's just hope no one else... you know. though, i believe in our friends, you know. i believe that maybe, just maybe, there will be no more murders. i hope so, anyways."

"does it? that's good! food it is, then." with a light chuckle, he straightened his posture for a moment and took a deep breath. "i feel like today might be a good day.. well, as good as possible here. at least /decent/. we'll see, though." he smiled lightly as they headed down to the place to eat together.

korekiyo had planned a small meet up , just him and shuichi at a park nearby their school . he knew that the detective was rather anxious , but kiyo hoped that he could help him open up slightly .
they had some things they could relate to each other , and so there was some talking ground . and currently , korekiyo sat at one of the classic picnic tables while waiting for saihara to arrive .

" i ... i w - wasn't planning on asking you that , " the detective admitted, shaking his head. " after , um ... *that* ... i definitely believe you . don't ... don't get upset with me if i take longer with saying stuff like that , though , okay ? trust me , i'd ... i'd be hesitant to say stuff about love with anybody — " shuichi felt bad about being so hesitant while kokichi was being so forward. he wanted kokichi to know he felt the same way, but it was hard to even get close to his level of energy and confidence...

" he teased, wrapping his arms around his neck and gently rocking them side to side with a big smile on his face. though..kokichi seemed to be flustered too, his cheeks a pretty pink. truth was..kokichi was so nervous about kissing shuichi, he was worried that he'd ruin something. it was incredibly weird to think someone genuinely loved him, he was so used to people painting bad words onto his back, swearing up and down that someone like him couldn't love. " hey, my beloved? i love you, ya know..and it's not a lie! don't you dare ask me if i am lying..I'm not..! " of course, it was hard to just say..I love you.

╰ ☆☆ @-deceivingu ☆☆ ╮ ...well, kokichi's warning hadn't done much good. being pulled so close to ouma had flustered him enough in the first place, not to mention that he had *not* been expecting a kiss in the slightest. initially, the detective tensed up as he felt kokichi's lips on his, and had frozen up for a moment, but after a small moment of panicking, he'd managed to close his eyes and at least relax into the kiss. when kokichi pulled, away, it would have been almost impossible to miss how intensely shuichi was blushing. not trusting himself to say anything that wouldn't come out of his mouth a stuttering mess, shuichi just nodded.
