hi everyone :) 
          
          I’m aware it’s been a long time since I was last active - 5 months, but I’ve been away and working on my mental health and have since far improved my writing. I don’t plan on taking down checkmate, but there may be a noticeable difference in the new chapters and the ones already published, since I’ve been experimenting with writing styles and just my writing in general and I’d like to think that I’ve grown. So currently, checkmate will be on hiatus, while i decide what to with it moving forward. In the meantime, i have an idea for a new fic (spencer reid of course) so hopefully i can publish that soon.

I apologise for not updating in a while; I’ve been swamped with work, and I’ve also not really had much motivation to write, but I plan on writing the next chapter soon. <3

          currently watching the scene where the inmates take spencer’s stuff and i am SOBBING because it reminds me of when spencer got bullied when he was young, i literally can’t watch it , i feel so fucking bad for him. also, he’s so soft, he deserves so much better. currently breaking down over this lol

I’ve also added a song at the beginning of each chapter that i thought was fitting and changed a few chapter titles accordingly 

 a new chapter of ‘checkmate’ is up! :)

update: i changed a sip of eternity’s title to: checkmate :)))
