I explain how bad homophobia is, how normalized it is, how dangerous and painful it can be to be queer.
          
          But, sometimes, it just hits me.
          It stops being words that, with so many other things, I have the privilege to fight, but not fear.
          
          I just want to be able to love someone.
          I'm really fucking sorry that, no matter how hard I try, that someone cannot be a man, and that makes you uncomfortable, but- 
          I just want to be in love and not risk dying for it.
          Romeo and Juliet died because they couldn't be together.
          You understand that, yet can't understand that two people who can't sexually reproduce with each other might be in love?
          
          I'm a kid, and I can't have a sticker that says Love Is Love because what if the government decided to come after us, again?
          
          I will be a wife. I will tend to my home, raise the children that nobody else will raise. But, it doesn't matter. They think gay people are disgusting, satanic, or just following a trend.
          They'd kill their child, even if it's indirectly, just because God made them love someone a little too much like them. As if that's not the main reason you hate them.
          
          
          You'd hate your son if he loved another man's son. 
          You vote to take your own daughter's happiness and freedom away from her.
          They'll threaten, then they'll outlaw, but they will always kill.
