Happy new year, everybody!
With 2025 comes a very special moment in the Lukewarmverse, my shared universe of novels. This year, I will focus my efforts on a series of spinoffs featuring characters that previously appeared in the main Lukewarm series. These books will be fairly standalone, allowing newer audiences to connect to the core story, but will also have links and callbacks to “Lukewarm”, to enhance the experience for those who have followed Jonathan Lukewarm’s journey so far.
As you might know, “Bad Blood”, the fourth Lukewarm book, ends with a massive ten-year time jump, leaving enough breathing room for these spinoffs to exist.
And before you worry too much, Lukewarm’s not going anywhere. He will feature as one of the protagonists in “Lukewarm and Olivera”, a future book intended to serve as a sequel to Olivera’s solo novel (which is coming soon).
Also, starting this year, I will be revamping the covers of the existing books to be much more comic-book-inspired. All future Lukewarmverse books will feature covers in the same vein to enhance thematic cohesion and consistency across the shared universe.
P.S.: Here’s a new year’s surprise for y’all! “The Ballad of Patricia Addams: More Tales from the Lukewarmverse”, the second major Lukewarm anthology featuring various short stories centred on a vast array of characters, is on its way. The first story, “The Ballad of Patricia Addams”, will be out soon, and will serve as a sort of epilogue to Patricia’s tumultuous journey in “Bad Blood”.
Stay tuned!
