          They were stolen from their homes on their twelfth birthday. Ten children, each marked with a Sigil they never asked for—torn from quiet villages, loving families, and dreams of building rather than fighting. Dragged to the gleaming, cold halls of Lumina Institute, where power is all that matters and kindness is a weakness.
