          *pls notice that I am specifically referring to GENERATIVE AI*

just a little PSA for everyone;
          
          ‼️ I do not use AI nor do I condone the use of AI ‼️
          Generative AI to be specific.
          
          I’ve been seeing countless posts on the internet of fanfic writers using Generative AI to “help them” write.
          
          Don’t get me wrong, Artificial Intelligence as a tool is helpful in some aspects like correcting grammar, spelling, and such.
          
          HOWEVER, as a writer and reader, I had come to learn long before that the joys of writing and reading stem from the creative nuance between authors. 
          
          The difference in their styles and abilities, whether they focus on narratives rather than dialogue, or if they write poetically instead of explicitly. Each writer brings something different, and AI ruins that.
          
          I do joke sometimes like “yeah this was AI HAHA” but I have never used Generative AI for my work. Never have and I never will.

          This took way longer than it should have but I’m making it a new year resolution to stay active on this story!

imagine reading a fanfiction and getting mad at the author for not finishing it, only to realize YOU are the author and is the very reason why the fanfiction isn’t finished yet….

I promise I’m writing but I’m also packing my stuff for my freshman year of college… so in order for the next few chapters not to be literal tear jerkers, I need to regulate my emotions HAGAHAHHAHA
