            I think something that will catch a readers attention is just subtle intimate things.
            
            for ex, eye contact at a party or celebration of some sort, and person A quickly pulls their phone out and text them a goofy message, person B opens their phone and giggles/laughs from across the room
            
            and eventually they get less subtle, and more couple-like, if that makes sense?
            
            starts off with person A not realizing their feelings, then they start developing, but I feel like you shouldn't just say "oh person A has a crush!" instead, I feel like, "oh, person A gets tingles in their stomach when person B plays with their hair."
