Hello!!! Oh my god I found you. Okay so i used to religiously read your books back in 2022 and I was such a huge fan of Gates of Tartarus when i read it! I am no longer 14 and have now begun college but for the longest time your story plagued my every waking thought /pos. I loved it but four years later and for  the life of me, I could not remember the title of the story nor your name. However, I am so glad to have haphazardly remembered it, albeit nearly four years later and due for a much awaited reread. 
          
          I used to be Raintheghost on Wattpad back then and I don't know if my old comments and notes are still up (i will not check, I cringe so badly at my older messages) but I do hope that i am remembered!! You got me into writing so badly and I wanted to thank you for it!

Hi, I’ve finished reading the gates of Tartarus book 1 but I can’t find book 2. Has it been removed?
          Also is book 1 on Ao3? Because it’s soo good and I would love to be able to download it and reread it whenever I want

          guess who came out of their hiding hole to republish "the elite." because it's been like six years already. and i just need to finish it. 
          
          this'll be my final edit of the book, with all the tropes and clichés everyone loved, so hopefully you all enjoy this version as much as you did the old ones! 
          
          however, i am an idiot, and accidentally deleted the original version. so i'll be starting from scratch with stats... which actually did not upset me that much. hopefully you all will show it as much love as you did the first version. :)

          crazy i emerged from the depths of nowhere for an update, but here they are:
          
          one,  i've finally started a booktok! because i was told by a thousand people i need to start one. i just posted my first video, which is just the characters of "the heroes of old" to the lyrics of "you're losing me" by taylor swift, so you guys should check it out if you have time. or a tiktok. my handle is @jxcelynyu because that's my actual name lol, so if any of you are anxious for ANY sort of "the heroes of old" content,  my tiktok will be my procrastination project as i fight "the city of atlantis."
          
          two, as mentioned above, i'm in the middle of suffering through "the city of atlantis". to any new readers, i wouldn't recommend jumping into "the battle of olympus" because of major spoilers, but each to their own, i guess. i'm only on around chapter thirty right now and every time i think about how it has sixty-five i cry a little internally. but that's okay, because y'all deserve a little love and a better-written book.
          
          three, "the elite" and "confessions about charlie stormfrey" are still on hold, because if i thought "the city of atlantis" is trying to kill me, my standalones are another beast. i reread my 1000x rewritten version of "the elite" and i cringed again, so i'm thinking i just give up and just start posting. but let's be real—none of you are reading my post for those two books. i genuinely do not know a single person who wanted to read them instead of my trilogy.

I just finished reading ‘Gates of Tartarus’ and was wondering where the second book is? I see the third, but where the second…?

Please please please, I NEED the book 2 of Gates of Tartarus like I can’t function properly until I read it thank you so much, I’ve read soooo many stories on this app and I just want to say yours have one of the most amazing plot lines  like howwwwww? Thank youuuuu

I read the Gates Of Tartarus in like, two days instead of writing my thesis and I’m not even mad at that. Your writing is SO good and your world building amazes me Can’t wait for you to finish editing the second book so I can avoid writing my thesis again

so it turns out that you HAVE seen the last of me... for the time being, at least. 
          
          i'll admit it—i've been extremely MIA for the last year, disappearing for seven months and then disappearing again after one update. you guys have been so lovely though, and nobody's flamed me yet (i think...) so you guys deserve to know what's going on with my stories. (also, i'm too dead to go through notifications—i'm so sorry, but i love you all. remember that.)
          
          as you guys may know, "the gates of tartarus" is now completely edited and revamped. the only thing i'm missing are the q&a chapters, but i will post that... eventually. i don't want to say soon because i'm a bum.
          
          "the city of atlantis" has been taken down for editing, and i planned to post the first revamped version a couple weeks ago, but i hit a block while editing, and i want to run through the entire version one more time after to make sure it somewhat lines up and the writing is okay, so i honestly don't know when i'll be posting it.
          
          i'm also completely dead with "the battle of olympus," but i definitely won't be abandoning it. i just completely messed up in the beginning and trying to salvage the rest of it is a trip. i'm trying, but don't expect frequent updates or a perfect coherent storyline. oops.
          
          "the elite," my first standalone, is currently being rewritten. i'm messing with it a lot, though, so i don't know when i'll finish. i'm only on chapter 4 currently so that's another oops. HOWEVER, i technically have an outline so it will definitely be completed eventually.
          
          lastly, "confessions about charlie stormfrey" is like. dead dead. as in i'll probably finish it, but it will be a struggle. it's mainly because i published it while i was in high school, and  i didn't write enough of it, so now that i'm in college, i don't love the storyline as much anymore. oops again.
          
          anyway, those are the updates for all of my stories, and hopefully, i'll see you all soon? i love you guys! (and sorry!)
