~{^I walk down the streets of the city, a jungle of bright lights and modern technology. So bright the night has a competition with this new day. I walk alone. Though it wasn't always that way. I've had many followers in my lifetime, but none quite as gentle and caring as the last one. He will forever live on into my thoughts until the end of time. Sometimes I wonder if I was bound to be alone from birth or if it was just some crazy coincidence. Nevertheless, I have always wandered alone, I have always chosen my own path for the sake of my never ending future. I was alone but never lonely. So here I am once again, counting the seconds as thousands of years go by, recalling the people of my past that I'll never get a glimpse of again.^}~
