idk who needs to hear this but im gonna say anyway.
nobody dictates your life for you. you are the only one with that power. your life does not revolve around a single person. no matter how much you're hurting because of one person, you cannot destroy your OWN life for them. doing that does absolutely NOTHING to the person who wronged you. you are the only person steering your life. your parents and close friends just help you make your journey easier. after you're an adult and have a stable income, your life is only yours to regulate.

im saying this because of a recent incident where a girl only a year older than me jumped. her 23 yr old tutor has been arrested. idk for what grounds but speculations is that they were in a relationship.
for me, i dont think teens should ever date. both parties should be at least 23 or older to be dating cuz at that age you're mostly independent and you can regulate your own life by then. dating immaturely only brings disaster (saying this after witnessing several breakups). im lit a veteran of witnessing horrible breakups atp. im honestly so glad that my parents had an unspoken rule of no dating cuz i can focus on my studies now so that i can be independent in the future.
im not saying that those who are teens dating rn should break up. no, im telling you to realize the reality. its a 50/50 chance that the relationship will go rly great and yall might end up marrying but it could also go inthe wrong direction. so those teens who are dating the same age teens. you should ALWAYS let a trusted adult know where you are at all times. i dont go out of the house without my mom on speed dial.
