What does it mean, when one of your friends is friends with your old friends that you like, and she's trying to do all she can to prove a point to people that you love them still? I know I love this person but some reason he hates me:/

I've had a crap day! Last night I banged my toe on the wall and now it's broken. Been at the hospital for most of the day, and funny thing is my mums been there all day with me and making me work..
